New remote pulse sensors promise a good night's sleep at last for NHS hospital patients

"With the 24-hour bustle of staff going to and fro and the beeping of alarms, hospital wards are notoriously noisy places.

But NHS patients of the future can expect a better night’s sleep thanks to the introduction of discrete wall-mounted monitors capable of automatically measuring their vital signs without waking them up."
